U.S. appeals court affirms contempt judgment for Jerry Koch

Jerry Koch, who has been imprisoned since May for refusing to testify in a Grand Jury that has nothing to do with him, has had his contempt judgment upheld by a Federal Appeals Court.

The Grand Jury is thought to be probing a 2008 bomb explosion outside of an Army recruitment office in Times Square. He is not a suspect in the crime and has refused to testify, citing his rights under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
